Truck Fleet Wheel Nut Torque Solutions – Management Overview
Your needs are very straightforward.

We offer two systems for torque management. Both apply sound quality engineering to the torque management process. Both have the intellectual, procedural and physical components to assure that you can attain proper torque on 100% of the wheel nuts on 100% of the wheels you install. They differ primarily in the directness of control and the level of documentation they offer.
The Tenexes Torque Verification System (TVS) 600 is our top-tier system for Class 5 through Class 8 trucks, and the Tenexes System 600 is our most basic quality-engineered system.
The primary difference in the two systems lies in where the management control ends and reliance upon the technician goes to 100%. In the TVS 600, the tech uses a computer-controlled digital torque wrench that has the specifications for each nut on each wheel onboard, measures the torque as it is applied, tells the technician when the torque spec is attained, and records the torque for each nut on each wheel. This data is uploaded at the end of the job and kept for proof of conformance should it ever be needed. The control extends all the way to the socket.
The Tenexes System 600, the technican uses a standard clicker-type torque wrench that does not record the actual applied torque for each nut on each wheel. The control stops just short of the technician actually using the tool.
