The Tenexes System applies an ISO 9001-style approach to the management of wheel nut installation torque. In an ISO system, there are several required elements:
- There must be a written procedure for each aspect of the task.
- The employee performing the task must be trained and qualified.
- The employee must have the proper tools to perform the task.
- The tools must be properly maintained.
- Every aspect of the above items must be properly documented.

The Tenexes System integrates every one of those requirements in a single package, and does so in a manner that can be readily integrated into an existing ISO 9001 system or used in building one. All of the intellectual, organizational and physical tools required to provide accurate, repeatable and documented results are included in the system package.

The Tenexes Torque Verification System (TVS) uses a computer program (PC, Windows-based) and digital torque wrench to extend your control all the way to the wheel nut socket!

The TVS software lets you use databases of wheel specifications, your TVS wrenches and your technicians to build work orders for each vehicle serviced. The work order is printed (optional) and downloaded to the TVS digital torque wrench. The wrench then:

• Shows the technician where to start (Wheel 01   Nut 01).
• Uses yellow, green and red LED’s to backlight the display and guide the technician to the correct torque.
• Records the torque for that nut  (Wheel 01  Nut 01)
• Indexes the display to the next nut (Wheel 01   Nut 02) and repeats.
• The guidance/recording/indexing continues until all nuts on the wheel are torqued and the results recorded.
• The display then indexes to the next wheel and nut (Wheel 02   Nut 01) and the process repeats.

This process continues until the work order is complete. The results are then uploaded to the PC, stored, and the tool memory cleared for the next work order. A Wheel Installation Summary Report can also be printed if desired.
